When we last tried to launch the Windows version of MondoPlayer our software was rejected by Google’s Chrome Web Store (see previous post).
After 2 weeks of exhaustive effort, we have rewritten vast amounts of code and submitted our new MondoPlayer Chrome Extension to the Google Web Store for approval.
The Google Web Store approval process is interesting. Google uses sophisticated software to analyse your code to ensure it meets their guidelines.
When our first attempt was rejected, the process needed human intervention – it took Google 5 days to reject us.
Today’s attempt did not require human intervention and it took 5 seconds!
Today’s news is mixed. Our software passed Google’s approval process and was accepted, but we found a bug that prevents it from installing successfully.
The race is on to find the bug and launch our service. Stay tuned …
