KP Snacks popcorn brand Butterkist is leveraging reality TV show Love Island to promote popcorn as a staple snack to have while watching all the drama.

At the heart of the marketing campaign #GoGrabTheButterkist, created by St Luke’s, is Butterkist’s ‘heart’ logo, which has been pictured cracking in half, alongside the tagline ‘Here for #CasaAmor.’

The campaign has appeared today in the print issue of The Metro and on Twitter.

Ilan Arkin, marketing controller at Butterkist, said: “We’ve had a great year of drama so far – and Butterkist was there for #Partygate and #WagathaChristie.
