MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – The Marion Police Department is offering a way to make your e-commerce transactions and child custody exchanges more safe.
The department on Tuesday announced it has designated “exchange” spots in the front parking lot for visitors to use at any time of the day.
The Safe Exchange Zone consists of two, clearly marked parking spots on the north side of the police department building, located at 6315 Highway 151.
Police said the zone can be used for e-commerce transactions and child custody exchanges and is covered by video surveillance cameras which can be recorded and monitored by department personnel.
