Motion Retargeting Test [Video]

To create this video, I used motion capture software from Rokoko. Typically motion capture suits and equipment can typically be thousands of dollars, however, Rokoko offers equipment-less motion capture, so I tried that, and retargeted that to my stickman rigs. Sadly, the actual motion captured was not that great; I did many more flexible and energetic actions that simply weren’t translated into the motion capture software.

Next time, I’ll use some motion capture hardware that I already have on hand, though just wanted to see how the results were without using such hardware 🙂 (not very good tho) 🙁
