As a part-time, first-year real estate agent in Cleveland, Ohio, I wasn’t sure where to start, so I purchased some online leads. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the methods I used to follow up had me converting at over double the national average. Now as a top agent in the Cleveland, Ohio real estate market, I’m teaching my teammates on the 21 Mike Team how to effectively convert leads.
Last week we covered scripts and dialogues for your SOI (sphere of influence). This week we’ll talk about how to follow up with online buyer leads. These are warm leads, people who have “raised their hands” and ask for information. Seems like it should be simple, right? But how many times do agents fail to convert these leads? The average online lead conversion to a transaction is only about 2.5%! Let’s change that!
