Squarespace editing a content block [Video]

Here is a short video that goes through the process of editing content blocks on Squarespace websites. Content blocks can contain a number of different assets and media including text and text boxes, buttons, images or video, as well as the content block itself. When you need to change some of the content, it’s a very easy process. All you need to do is copy and paste the content you want the website to display in that box, click on the box to highlight the text.

To edit or replace a video or image, click edit in the top left corner. Navigate to the section of the page which has the image or video to be replaced, and click the pen icon or ‘edit’ to change the image. It will give you the offer to upload a new image, replace the image from the media assets you already uploaded, or to use available images online through unsplash or pixels. Make sure to click save up at the top left of the window to make sure your edits are correctly saved.
