Nintendo announced a new event for mobile game Super Mario Run in celebration of the upcoming film. That’s right; as part of the marketing for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Nintendo will temporarily allow players to check out more of the mobile game’s levels for free.
Technically, Super Mario Run is a free-to-play mobile game, giving players access to the first few courses without spending any money. But it does lock most of the game behind a $10 paywall after the first several courses.
Each day during the event, one stage that normally couldn’t be played without purchasing the game will be unlocked for free. Plus, if you link your Nintendo Account, you can play an additional stage for free! These stages change daily. Let’s-a go! pic.twitter.com/dwNadyWUk5
