What’s Good?Are you familiar with webhooks? If not, you’re in the right place!Check it out, a webhook is a vehicle that is transmitting data from one server to the next.The most common use of webhooks is typically on forms when you’re moving contact data from one database to another.For example, you have a Wordpress website built with an Elementor form and you want to send the form data (or whatever they have submitted) over to your HighLevel CRM…This is where Zapier comes into play! It’s the most commonly used way to move data back and forth. They’ve already built the application for you! The application you’re going to be using is called Webhooks by Zapier. This is where they spin up the webhook for you and basically bring those endpoints from one location to the next and provide all of the variables for you!So, when you’re developing an API and you’re trying to move information from one database to the next, it seems like magic to you right?On your website, if your form has name, email, phone number, blah blah blah… the rows in that database are going to have different titles, column names or whatever right?Most databases have titles for those fields so they don’t directly talk to each other and some are written in completely different languages!A webhook takes all of those fields and gives you variables for each one of them.
