Facebook is giving people another way to show each other that they care during the coronavirus pandemic with tweaks to its Reactions for the flagship social network and Messenger From Facebook that will begin rolling out Friday.
A seventh Reaction, Care, is being added to Facebook.
Meanwhile, Messenger users can toggle between the normal Heart reaction and a temporary pulsating one.
Messenger vice president of product design Loredana Crisan said in a blog post, βExcited to share that today, we are rolling out a new temporary special pulsing heart reaction in Messenger, so that people can show extra love and support to their friends and family during this time. The most popular stickers on Messenger are all heart-related, and now people can react in their conversations with even more emotion to show love and care to their people, no matter where they might be.β
