Shoppers Flock to Summit Mall for Black Friday Shopping | News [Video]

“My wife’s in the store right now probably running my debit card up,” said one Black Friday shopper, Caulin Bartely.

Today is the infamous shopping day, where people flock to stores to try and get the best deals.

While Black Friday doesn’t have the craziness it used to with online shopping making it easier to buy things from the couch, people were still out and about today.

“Black Friday has changed, it’s been a little dead today,” Bartley said.

“I like people watching, but there’s not that many people out,” said another shopper, Kelly Flores.

In prior years, people would wait out early Friday morning for Black Friday.

Then things shifted to Thanksgiving night.

Now, Black Friday starts in the middle of November for some places.

However, some shoppers say they like that it isn’t shoulder to shoulder shopping anymore.
